Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. The professor is also director of the Center for Public Policy Research. It is believed that she was the one responsible as the pioneer of modern studies of memory recall by eyewitnesses, and children as witnesses. Professor Goodman's publications are extensive She has also received a number of grants and is the recipient of numerous awards the national level and international. She has worked with various organizations and government officials across the world regarding policies and research concerning children as victims within the legal system. She also serves as a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) and is a part of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of numerous professional associations, including the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is also a member of Psychonomics Society, American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman has served as president of American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division as well as three divisions of Child and Family Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
