Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born the 31st of January 1974. Her most well-known role is as Bo on the Showcase TV series Lost Girl. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter an academic, and Ilkay Silk who is an accomplished actress director producer playwright educator as well as Director of Drama from St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of her earliest memories of watching and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk appeared in several commercials when she was a kid. In 1997, she received a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto Canadian in the month of November 1999. Then she moved in Los Angeles California during the period of the following decade. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Los Angeles Actors Workshop in 2007. They got engaged in 2009 prior to getting married at the civil ceremony on December. They renewed their vows April 10, 2011 in Fredericton, after the woman had converted to Judaism. Silk got a baby named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's work on television includes playing the character of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she was cast as Bo Dennis, the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant when she was filming the final episode of the third season. Silk revealed her pregnancy to the viewers in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special of January 6, 2013. The day before, on June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. On June 20 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was back to work on the show. CNN named Bo's portrayal with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples ever. E! Magazine also classified it as the most popular TV couple of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought an enormous online following through social networks.
